Nerf Deploy Review

Sorry it’s taken me so long to get this review up but I had a few problems with this blaster that I had to solve before getting this update up.

Ok well overall this is a decent blaster that is def made for the age group displayed on the box. I felt really bunched up as I’m 6’2 but the shotgun grip felt great to have. The deploy function still makes me smile every time I do “Deploy” it. Also in the very front of the shotgun grip is a place for an extra dart.

Range is ok at around 25 feet. It doesn’t say anywhere on the box the range of it so I did about 20 shots and the average shooting horizontal was 25. I did have a problem with my plunger not compressing fast when I first purchased it so I had to crack her open ,which I’ll get to later on how to do, and lubricate the plunger. Which fixed the issue.

I don’t really recommend using the drum clip on it and “Deploying” it since it puts a lot of stress on the magazine loading area. So use just the standard clip with it.

The built in light is ok and does give a good amount of light if your doing a night battle but range is close on it at best.

The Deploy does come with a carrying strap but its a bit awkward to use. It also clips on the butt of the blaster in the same spot unless there is something I’m missing.

Nerf Deploy On Shelves!!

Ok well I just have happened to stop by my Local Toys R Us and they had a bunch of Deploys. Already opened and played around with mine. Here's some pics to tide you over till I get done messing with it to give a full review

Mini Update

Ok. Well I'm sorry there hasn’t been any recent updates to the site as there has been no news recently to report. There has been some sales of Deploys at select stores over on the west side of the U.S. but have yet to see any here in the midwest. I have have a picture of the Clear Deploy with the Clear raider with a backwards drum (interesting). This comes courtesy of katu.com and can be found here. The fella’s holding them are Marc Stewart and Kyle Burns from the band “Forever the Sickest Kids”. Enjoy!

Nerf Deploy Release Dates

Ok well I only have month release dates but that's dates non the less.

Here goes straight from their Facebook Page:

Hey Nerf Nation, you ask - we answer. Here are some international release dates for the N-Strike Deploy CS-6: UK - July, Canada - March, France - October, Germany & Mexico - August, Brazil - April and Singapore - February. Let the count downs begin!

And United States release is set for March :D.

Longstrike Internals and Review

Hey there all. I wanted to let you know that I have finally aquired a Longstrike and want to give you all my review on it. Here goes.

Stock the gun has Recon range and is alittle bit heavier than the Recon. It is also very, very, very long compared to the other guns. It definetely takes the cake from the Longshot as being the longest blaster on the market. The insides are recon and pretty much, like rumors have stated, a reshelled Recon. Modding it did take a bit of thinking as the gun has alittle bit more complex design to the trigger and plunger mechanisms. It gets actually farther than my Recon that happens to be modded and alittle less than my Longshot and both have the A/R's removed but still have stock springs. Overall stock a decent gun and modded its even better.

Stock Review: 7.0
Modded Review: 8.5 (will update when I can get ahold of a better spring.
