Barrel Break!

I just picked up a new nerf Barrel Break and I think is pretty awesome. Mine gets around 30 ft stock which pretty much destroys all of the lame double shots I have seen. There are only 2 problems I see with it and those are it takes a little longer to load than I would usually like and its insides are kinda complicated and will be difficult to mod. But other then that if you use this in a battle or against zombies you get like 20 free style points because it looks so awesome. I would highly recommend it!

Clear Blasters have been released

Ok all well so far I have seen the Recon, Nitefinder, Deploy, and Maverick on sale at local stores. Still waiting on any news on the Stampede or Barricade and if they have been sold at stores so far. If I come across any news you guys will be the first to know.

Nerf Stampede ECS details released!!! 9-9-10

Ok well here are some news about the Nerf blaster set to be released on 9-9-10. All details straight from their Facebook page.

-The first fully automatic Clip System blaster, pop-out bipod, removable shield, comes equipped with three 18 dart clips and one 6 dart clip for a total of 60 darts - the highest clip capacity yet.

Nerf Barricade = Semi-Auto Maverick!!!!

Not sure if you guys remember the Nerf Barricade RV-10 but some new pictures and details according to Taobao.com state that this pistol will be a semi-automatic pistol!! Which in turn means no having to cock the blaster! I’m so pumped for this now :D. The only thing I don’t like is that it still is a revolving drum instead of clip like i’d prefer :/. But anywho, any new news I find I’ll put up. Here’s a pic to tease you with.

Nerf- Tactical Vest

Another new nerf gun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First I would like to appollogise for my lack of posts, I actually forgot my password.anyway, on to the importaint stuff! According the the nerf face book page (and thanks too) yet another new nerf gun will be available in the fall! I for one really like this blaster as it is basically a double shot but without shells and the strings that cause the demise of mine. so yeah here it is...

Nerf Spectre Rev-5

Thanks to SGNerf for these pics of the Spectre Rev-5 and his source as well. I am not so sure how I like this blaster as it is a Maverick that has one less shot and a barrel extension.

I probably will buy this blaster as I am fond of the maverick and a folding stock on the raider, if it is good and solid enough, will work great. Hope ya’ll like this one. C ya.

Possible New Nerf Gun!!!!!?!#JF(#*^

Ok well for one I’m sorry about the lack of updates on here as there have been a few situations out of my control that prohibited me from updating on here.

ie: No new nerf news.

Anyways onto the good stuff. Not sure if I’ll get in trouble for this but this was posted on Nerfs Official Facebook page and swiftly (and I do mean that) taken down. It looks like another really reshelled Recon but I like it…alot. so here ya go.

Now the first thing i notice is it’s shotgun style grip. which makes me happy :D. The next thing i notice is the 18 round clip. smaller than the 35 round clip that is sold with the raider so fitting it into the bandolier might be easier. Anyways take care and C ya.

Ok well I just wanted to give you all an update on something since no new news is going on right now. Nitefinders are on sale at Walmart and from what I hear certain Targets for 5 Dollars. It’s a good price for a good blaster. Any other news shall be posted when I get ahold of it.

Nerf Deploy Review

Sorry it’s taken me so long to get this review up but I had a few problems with this blaster that I had to solve before getting this update up.

Ok well overall this is a decent blaster that is def made for the age group displayed on the box. I felt really bunched up as I’m 6’2 but the shotgun grip felt great to have. The deploy function still makes me smile every time I do “Deploy” it. Also in the very front of the shotgun grip is a place for an extra dart.

Range is ok at around 25 feet. It doesn’t say anywhere on the box the range of it so I did about 20 shots and the average shooting horizontal was 25. I did have a problem with my plunger not compressing fast when I first purchased it so I had to crack her open ,which I’ll get to later on how to do, and lubricate the plunger. Which fixed the issue.

I don’t really recommend using the drum clip on it and “Deploying” it since it puts a lot of stress on the magazine loading area. So use just the standard clip with it.

The built in light is ok and does give a good amount of light if your doing a night battle but range is close on it at best.

The Deploy does come with a carrying strap but its a bit awkward to use. It also clips on the butt of the blaster in the same spot unless there is something I’m missing.

Mini Update

Ok. Well I'm sorry there hasn’t been any recent updates to the site as there has been no news recently to report. There has been some sales of Deploys at select stores over on the west side of the U.S. but have yet to see any here in the midwest. I have have a picture of the Clear Deploy with the Clear raider with a backwards drum (interesting). This comes courtesy of katu.com and can be found here. The fella’s holding them are Marc Stewart and Kyle Burns from the band “Forever the Sickest Kids”. Enjoy!

Longstrike Internals and Review

Hey there all. I wanted to let you know that I have finally aquired a Longstrike and want to give you all my review on it. Here goes.

Stock the gun has Recon range and is alittle bit heavier than the Recon. It is also very, very, very long compared to the other guns. It definetely takes the cake from the Longshot as being the longest blaster on the market. The insides are recon and pretty much, like rumors have stated, a reshelled Recon. Modding it did take a bit of thinking as the gun has alittle bit more complex design to the trigger and plunger mechanisms. It gets actually farther than my Recon that happens to be modded and alittle less than my Longshot and both have the A/R's removed but still have stock springs. Overall stock a decent gun and modded its even better.

Modded Review: 8.5 (will update when I can get ahold of a better spring.

Alright, as Animod stated, i am a nerf modder. As such i know the insides of just about every gun on the market now well enough to help with mods you may have quesionts about. I will be checking this about once or twice a day so if anyone has any questions, feel free to post them.

Nerf Display HK toys and games fair

Well like the title says this is a photo from the Honk Kong Toys and Games Fair that Nerf put a display up for. I was hoping it'd be bigger and easier to see but.... its not so enjoy. And later on I'll update a picture of my local Meijer's shelf to compare too.

edit: Ok well after closer inspection of these pictures Cheney and I have figured out some of the boxes in these pictures and what we might have in store. There is definitely a clear Recon box. Possibly a Nitefinder next to that. Below that there is the Deploy box. We can clearly see the Longstrike on the shelf in front of the Raider. There are also ammo pouches in front of a tactical vest that you can see. So hopefully soon we'll hear about these coming out.

New Nerf News!!!

Ok. Well I want you all to know that this is going to be a blog dedicated entirely to the products of Nerf and other similar types of toys. Most of the posts that will appear on here will be more than likely similar posts to other sites but that we will be doing daily updating if there are any new news or mods that people request. Cheney is my main guy for modding Nerf guns and will be doing alot of his own postings about his moddings and paint jobs. We live in the Grand Rapids area of Michigan and so we will be also doing Nerf product updates as to what stores have what if we are available too and also would like our readers to give us updates as well if they can.
